The J. Paul Getty Museum Journal is a compendium of articles and notes pertaining to the Museum's permanent collections of antiquities, decorative arts, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, paintings, photographs, and sculpture and works of art. Each volume includes an introduction by John Walsh, director emeritus of the Museum, and a fully illustrated checklist of recent acquisitions.
