The Eger Journal of American Studies is the only English language periodical in the Hungarian higher education, which is exclusively dedicated to the publishing of essays and book reviews focusing on North American culture, society, history, and literature. The Journal has been published since 1993. Presently it is published on a biennial basis by the North American Studies segment of the Institute of English and American Studies.

Az Eger Journal of American Studies az egyetlen olyan a magyar felsőoktatási szférában működő folyóirat, amely kizárólag az észak-amerikai kultúrával, társadalommal, történelemmel, és irodalommal foglalkozó tanulmányokat és könyvismertetéseket jelentet meg angol nyelven. A folyóirat első száma 1993-ban jelent meg, jelenleg az Anglisztika, Amerikanisztika és Germanisztika Intézet Amerikanisztikai Szakcsoportja gondozásában 2 évenként jelenik meg.
