Description

From 2023 onwards »Causa Sport« will be distributed in digital form. The sport-scientific, internationally oriented journal, founded in 2004, with a focus on sports law and sports economics also covers sports law as well as money and gambling law in a national and international context, especially with a view to the aspects of sports betting. In terms of content, the focus is primarily on the markets in German-speaking countries (Switzerland, Austria, Germany).
The threads of and for »Causa Sport« come together in Switzerland, the headquarters of the most important international sports federations and the world's most important sports organization, the IOC (International Olympic Committee, an association under Swiss law based in Lausanne) (Lausanne is also home to the central headquarters of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS, Tribunal Arbitral du Sport; CAS, Court of Arbitration for Sport).
The sports law specialist Prof. Dr. iur. Urs Scherrer is responsible for editing »Causa Sport«.
