Engineering Innovations - Details

Engineering Innovations (EI) is an open-access peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal that highlights the latest scientific results on a wide range of modern development in various branches of engineering sciences. The journal is a companion journal to the highly recognized peer-reviewed Journal of Engineering Research in Africa .
Along with the traditional fields of engineering studies, the journal Engineering Innovations also welcomes research articles with significant impact on engineering development related, but not limited to:
- research and development of innovative solutions in niche areas such as aerospace and aviation, nanotechnologies, communication engineering, digital technologies, high-tech production, bio-technologies, and biomedical engineering;
- progress in cutting-edge areas, such as the design of the technological and production systems, management of modern manufacturing, including supply chains, operations management, automated production, and digital manufacturing;
- sustainability and ecological compatibility of modern production: clean technologies in energetic, hydrogen and fuel cells in the energy transition, zero-carbon manufacture, deep waste recycling, technologies of environmental recovery, and water treatment, lean manufacturing;
- resent engineering approaches and solutions, and integrated projects related to construction, development of sustainable transportation and urban infrastructures, productive agro- and food production.
The journal considers for publication the full-length papers in the form of scientific or review articles, research communications, or analysis of scientific news and views.

EI will consider for evaluation original high quality scientific research papers in the scope of the journal.
Papers submitted in EI cannot be published or sent for publication elsewhere. Multiple submission and redundant publication is prohibited. Authors allowed to preserve pre-prints in arXiv and ChemRxiv and in case of publication of their paper in EI, authors should update pre-print by linking it to corresponding paper's DoI. Authors retain the right to publish an extended, significantly updated version in another periodical.
Each submitted paper in EI is a subject of obligatory peer-review by at least two independent external reviewers in the area of scientific research.

Engineering Innovations(EI) journal publishes in open access model under the Creative Commons (CC-BY 4.0) license at no APC until 31st of December 2024. Data sharing and/or reproducibility is done individually in line with Creative Commons license.
Each submitted paper is a subject of plagiarism check via iThenticate, as well as eligibility with international standards and requirements. All allegations of research misconduct in published papers, including but not limited by plagiarism, authorship, citation manipulation, data falsification, etc., are are subject of responsibility of Trans Tech Publications and journal editors and processed following COPE's guidelines.
All journal publication policies, including but not limited by policies on ethical oversight, authorship, conflict of interest, complaints and appeals are processed following COPE's guidelines.
