The article offers information on the Metternich family archive, kept in the National Archives in Prague, which is a source for the study of political history and the history of international relations in Europe. This family archive is mainly accessed by foreign researchers, who are concerned with the political influence of Chancellor Klemens Metternich himself as well as with questions concerning political history. Acta Clementina is considered an important part of this archive.
