Here, Nyomi argues for the intangibility and arbitrariness of vowels, consonants, tones, words and sentences of Ewe. After providing such a comprehensive description of the consonant sounds of the language, Nyomi attempts to underline some of the relationships that can exist between consonants and other sounds.
