A 75-year-old woman with metastatic renal cell carcinoma developed hypophysitis and adrenalitis while undergoing treatment with ipilimumab and nivolumab. After ten months of therapy, she developed pneumonitis and treatment was stopped. Three months later, she presented with symptoms of asthenia, drowsiness, and limitations in daily activities. Lab tests confirmed hypophysitis and adrenalitis, which were secondary to the ipilimumab and nivolumab treatment. The woman was treated with glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid replacement, leading to significant improvement. [Extracted from the article]
