A 31-year-old woman experienced a lack of efficacy during dual antiplatelet therapy with ticagrelor and aspirin. She had a history of childhood pharynx rhabdomyosarcoma but had a successful recovery. After 22 years, she was admitted to the stroke unit due to a transient loss of vision in her right eye. Tests revealed a stenosis in her right internal carotid artery, and she underwent carotid artery stenting. However, despite receiving dual antiplatelet therapy, she experienced restenosis, indicating a lack of efficacy. She underwent balloon angioplasty and was discharged on a higher dose of aspirin and ticagrelor. [Extracted from the article]
