Within the modified proton ordering model for the KH2PO4 type ferroelectrics with hydrogen bonds with taking into account the piezoelectric coupling linear on strains εi and ε6 contributions into the energy of proton (deuteron) system but without taking into account the tunneling within the four-particle cluster approximation, the effect of hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure on phase transition and physical characteristics of the K(H1-xDx)2PO4 ferroelectrics are studied. At the proper set of the parameters a good quantitative description of the corresponding experimental data is obtained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
