The article reports on the arguments concerning the plan of the Labour government to implement changes towards its neo-liberal education system in Great Britain. It states that the move aims to develop strategies that will help enhance the country's education system in connection with its economic objectives. The author provides a discussion on the Secondary Curriculum Review model established by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) intended for schools and teachers which will help enhance the implementation of an effective education policy. In addition, the challenges of implementing the strategies, including the lack of concern shown by teachers towards socially critical teaching and their reluctance of facing risks were also discussed.
