Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia (ARVC/D) is a genetically determined heart muscle disorder that presents clinically with ventricular arrhythmias, heart failure, and sudden death [1, 2]. The pathological process consists of progressive loss of ventricular myocardium with fibrofatty replacement [2]. The right ventricle is mostly involved [1] but presentation of disease with predominantly left ventricular involvement has been recently reported [3]. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
