L'A. examine la manière dont une entreprise parvient à se construire une image de marque et une notoriété à travers une stratégie de communication visuelle et verbale qui lui permet également de parvenir à une reconnaissance de son nom. L'A. étudie ce processus désignatif à partir d'une analyse textuelle appliquée à l'exemple d'une campagne publicitaire en français menée dans la presse par l'entreprise pharmaceutique Hoechst AG.
