Since 2008, the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research has been pursuing an extensive strategy intending to give the country a solid digital infrastructure for the provision of scientific and technical information to French researchers. BSN, the Scientific Digital Library, has become the meeting point of all higher education and research institutions where this strategy is debated and implemented.
